The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of parallel training in the morning and evening on some anti-inflammatory cardiovascular indices in young overweight men. The present study was a quasi-experimental study with a control group and pre-test-post-test . 5 ml of venous blood was collected and also the Block test to measure VO2max2. For statistical analysis, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with LSD post-hoc test with a significance level of 0.05 and SPSS software version 27 were used. The findings showed that 8 weeks of parallel training in the morning and evening increased VO2max2 and decreased weight and body mass index in the experimental groups compared to the control groups. This was while the increase in VO2max in the evening was greater than in the morning and the decrease in weight and body mass index in the morning was greater than in the evening. Also, 8 weeks of parallel training in young overweight men led to an increase in the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in the experimental groups compared to the control group, which was greater in the evening than in the morning. Overall, the present study showed that parallel training in the morning and evening was effective on anti-inflammatory indices of the cardiovascular system and caused a percentage increase in anti-inflammatory factors in the evening compared to the morning. Therefore, it is suggested that parallel training in the evening is probably a more suitable time for overweight people than in the morning.
